Intensive Residential 200 Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training India at Shobhana Yog Sadan - Rishikesh is the foundation yoga course designed for beginners and intermediate level yoga practitioners who want to go to the depth of self practice and for those who want to pursue their career and life in yogic teaching and living. You can also be an advanced yoga practitioner with years of self practice willing to learn yoga in India and take your practice to professional level.
During 200 hour yoga teacher training, you will gain theoretical and practical knowledge on yoga poses (listed below ), alignment and adjustment to practice those yoga poses correctl, understand the limitations and scope of your muscles and ligaments, and avoid injuries, shatkarma Kriya (yogic cleansing) - to cleanse nostrils, throat, intestine, digestive canal; different types of meditative skills including trataka (focus of eyes); pranayama (yogic breathin), bandhas (locks) and study yoga philosophy and anatomy and physiology. Other major practices of YTT course are yoga ethics, mantra chanting and yog nidra.
You may want to do both Hatha and Astanga yoga teacher training in a single go. Doing two different types of yogic learning at a single time is basically not possible. Learning and practicing one form of yoga at a time is essential for you to obtain deeper knowledge and practice that helps you enhance your daily living and be able to assist others do so.
Our 200 hour hatha yoga teacher training - intensive residential twenty-eight days of certification program at Shobhana Yog Sadan - is focused on disciplined daily yogic living, meaning correct practice, study, mantra chanting, cleansing, meditation, pranayama and sattvik diet, to prepare you become professional yoga practitioner who can plan and teach yoga to others by completion of the course. Shobhana Yog Sadan is Rys 200 and Rys 300 (name changed for Vishwa Shanti Yoga School) located in Rishikesh town of North India offering yoga teacher training, yoga retreats, beginners yoga course, ayurveda retreat, pranayama and meditation retreat to people around the globe.
Students are expected to be physically and mentally present at the class. As per Yoga Alliance USA, techniques, training and practice; teaching methodology; anatomy and physiology; yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics for yoga teachers plus practicum are the five important subjects to be covered in 200 hour yoga teacher training. We cover yoga asanas, pranayama, kriyas, mantra chanting, meditation and other traditional yoga techniques under techniques, training and practice. Teaching styles, qualities of yoga instructor, mass handeling, types of students,etc. are covered under teaching methodology. Yoga anatomy and physiology makes you understand the effect of yoga practices including asanas, meditation and kriyas on your body systems and organs, chakras, nadis. You will be studying Patanjali's Yog Sutra, the Bhagvad Geeta, Hatha Yoga Pradapika and other philosophical texts and teach your peers on topics your instructor gives you. This is your chance to practice teaching yoga - you will be going to the field as a practitioner and this is a demo class you conduct before registering yourself as an instructor.

You will be staying with us at Vashishth Guest House in nearby Vanprasth Ashram II in Swargashram, Ram Jhula. Each student will be provided private room with attached bathroom and basic amenities. We have only six rooms in the guest house. Once these rooms are filled, we will provide accommodation in Hotel Yog Vashishth and the cost will slightly raise. Hotel Yog Vashishth has different types of rooms with different costs. If you are okay with the facilities similar to Vashishth Guest House, the course fee will raise
